Lethality, of Guild Wars Insider came across a NPC near the Mystic Forge with a curious purpose. Initially it seemed she was selling Mystic Forge recipes for gold but on further inspection Lethality came across quite an interesting find -

Orb of Power: An orb of pure power used to create legendary weapons (even though the color is purple, and legendary items will be red!)

The most interesting part was it required Skill Points to buy, 100 of them in fact. What could it all mean? Click the title link or follow this link to find out!

Betting it’s meant for post 80 progression.  Perhaps putting in a system similar to the original GW where xp after max level yields skill points?  Then legendary items would be reflected by those who have put in the most time.
